After the softpowerDTV is given, is there any timeframe you have to enter Thailand for the first time? Can i get my visa done allready now, and plan a trip in 2028?
GER-Frankfurt embassy (softpowerDTV page) states :
The visa application is possible at the earliest 90 days before the start of the trip to Thailand, as the single-entry visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
i cant find that information nowhere else, but still im not sure if its possible to apply and recieve it now, under current rules, with a planned trip in two years...
there is no flight nor accomondation information needed in the further visa process, only whats written on the embassy page, right?
I am thinking about moving from the US to Thailand on an education visa. But I want to visit there again first and do some research about the programs and look for potential housing options, etc. Can I enter the country visa exempt to start my search, and then obtain a tourist visa while I am there if I need more time? And if everything turns out the way I am hoping, and I get everything lined up, can I then apply for an education visa?
