Will I be asked for tax information when applying for a Muay Thai visa in Thailand?

Hello, I’m considering getting the Muay Thai dtv

I have the funds in my account

Is it true that they’re gonna ask for my tax even though the Visa is a Muay Thai visa?

And will I be taxed?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original question was about potential tax obligations related to obtaining a Muay Thai visa (DTV). Comments clarified that while the visa itself may not directly trigger tax questions, becoming a tax resident after living in Thailand for 180 days could subject you to taxation on assessable income brought into the country, depending on individual financial circumstances.

So they’d never ask tax questions or anything?

Right now I am on the 9 months Muay Thai visa.

Anonymous participant Never seen anyone say this on arrival. I've been going to Thailand for 22 years and never been asked to show anything on entry, ever.

It's only a Muay Thai DTV if it says on it like this one.

Once you become tax resident any assessable income that you remit into Thailand may be subject to taxation. Whether you actually pay any tax is dependent on your own personal financial circumstances.

If you mean whether you'll become a tax resident after living 180 days in Thailand?: Yes

But it doesn't always mean you need to pay taxes here.
