Which country is better for a visa run from Thailand: Singapore or Malaysia?

Hi there all

I am looking to exit Thailand and visit friends in Singapore and Malaysia in one trip, and am wanting to use this exit as a visa run.

Which country would be best to return back to Thailand from of the two? I'm thinking Malaysia?
