Just a update for extension at Jomtien immigration office.
They first gave me an under consideration stamp dated for oct 7th, when I went they gave me yet another under consideration stamp dated for nov 3rd.
Because im trying to move to another province as soon as possible I went to jomtien soi 5 immigration today hoping they would give me the stamp early. They didnt give me the stamp but gave me a card with a number on it and told me to come back tomorrow meanwhile keeping my passport. I will update again tomorrow if they give me the stamp. Has anyone else been to jomtiem soi 5 immigration and had your passport kept overnight?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared an update regarding their visa extension at the Jomtien Immigration Office, detailing the process where they received multiple 'under consideration' stamps, the temporary retention of their passport, and instructions to return for further updates. Comments from other community members reflected similar experiences with passport retention and the timing of visa issuance, indicating a pattern in the office's processing method.
everyone who came before October 10 was given a second under consideration. and for those who came after they put the final stamp but 31.10 🤷🏻♀️ we‘ll all have to come a third time anyway 🤦🏻♀️🤣
From what I have read on Pattaya groups, several people down there at the Jomtien Immgiration office have been given a card with a number on it, had their passport taken and been told to come back after xxx date to pick it back up
