Hi all. I need to send my passport to an agent via post. Can anyone tell me what the most secure way of doing this is, please?
Is it Thai EMS? Is that at the regular post office?
Thanks everyone!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation provides advice on the secure ways to send passports via post in Thailand, recommending services like EMS (Express Mail Service) and Kerry Express, both of which are trackable. Several comments express concerns about sending passports to unlicensed agents, suggesting that if one must use an agent, it is safer to hand it directly to them instead of posting. Participants share their experiences with EMS and raise points about the risks of using questionable visa agents.
Cheers all who commented with constructive advice. (All others need to get something more interesting in their lives.) I'll turn off commenting as I don't use Facebook much and I got the answer I needed. Cheers

if you must use an agent, and I never would, at least put your passport in the manβs hand. That way you can be sure at least that it reaches him and is not lost in the post which would be a major headache. He could still lose it anyway, but at least you did everything you could at your end.

I use EMS send to my customer, no problem at all. Donβt worry

π§π some are willing to take pretty stupid risks. No way I will ever have my passport to a non government entity, ever. But I would also never use a dodgy visa agent
