🙌 Hello Community 🙌

I’m looking for some advice please about crossing into Malaysia from Wang Prachan (Satun).

I believe this is a great crossing point, however I’m relying on public transport to & from back to KPG.

What is the best route to take from your experience?

I believe from my research you can do this trip easily in a day?

Love any recommendations around the national park area.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If you rely on public transport, why would you choose that border crossing. Just pick Dannok or Padang Besar.

I’ve done Pedang Besar & Kota Baru before and I’ve been told it’s a good crossover. I believe you can get taxi’s on the Malaysian side?

Have you done this trip before?

I've been to Wang Prachan, but did not cross the border. I could be mistaken and there might be transportation options once in MAS.

I'd get to the Thai mainland, then take the train or minivan south to Hat Yai, cross the border on the train at Padang Besar and take the train south through Malaysia.

This is a useful group full of train info
