What is the approval timeline for a Thai DTV Workcation visa based on recent experiences?

APRROVED IN HANOI:

Sharing my timeline, especially for everyone still waiting who submitted their application before the recent changes.

European | DTV Workcation / E-commerce Owner

-Submitted: Aug 28th at 22:32pm

-Pending approval: Sep 1st at 14:00pm

-Approved: Sep 9th at 16:05pm

My application was quite extensive:

-Main application/professional evidence: 75 pages

-Proof of location: 20 pages

-Financial evidence: 35 pages

I included pretty much everything I had seen others being asked for here, and made the whole application extremely organized and clear. I literally tried to think like a consul reviewing the application and make sure there were no unanswered questions or room for doubt. The waiting was honestly nerve-wracking, but thankfully it paid off!

For everyone who is still waiting around here, especially those who submitted before the change: hang in there. I know how stressful it is, but hopefully this gives you a little reassurance that applications from that period are still being processed.

And finally, I really want to say I love this community. A special thank you to the people who are here every single day, constantly answering questions, sharing updates, helping people understand the process and reassuring others while they wait… often spending a lot of their own time doing it and asking absolutely nothing in return. Those daily comments and updates genuinely make a difference when you are sitting there refreshing your application status wondering what is happening.
