Hi all!

anyone brought a cat from uk to Thailand?

What documents did you actually need for the r1/1 import form?

Also for the ech 2917 certificate from the uk what did you need for that exactly ? 

Would I be right in saying for the r1/1 

You need 

  1. Full name

  2. Passport 

  3. address in the UK

  4. Your address in Thailand

  5. Cats details 

  6. Flight details

  7. Photo of cat 

  8. Microchip certificate 

  9. Vaccination record in English

  10.Rabies vaccine

   Feline Panleukopenia vaccine in the vaccine record booklet

Do I need proof of the vets address name and signature and licence number? 

For the ech 2917 certificate do I need a rabies certificate or is the details of it in the vaccine booklet okay.

Would really appreciate the help if any one could comment or dm me on how they did it please

Hey you to be up to date with all vaccines, Rabies shot at least 3 weeks before leaving. You will need an export certificate from a UK vet 3 days before leaving. You can then email this info to Bangkok import department and they issue the import certificate on your day of arrival - pay a small fee for this when you arrive in the country. It appears complicated but its really not and easy to sort yourself. Chat GPT will help you with the timelines.

if you mean the export certificate 2917 you need to make an appoint with a Vet and pay them for this certificate once they have checked you cat meets all the above requirements

Are you having a laugh bringing a cat to Thailand unless you keep it in the house it won't last long not where I live anyway it will be curious of inserts and the rest don't bring it
