Other Notes:
* I’ve organized the documents to make them easy to review.
* I transferred 150,000 THB into my account one day before applying to ensure the total balance met the 500,000 THB requirement.
* Prior to that, the account had maintained a balance of approximately 400,000 THB for the past 3–4 months.
Hopefully this helps!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully applied for a Workcation visa in Thailand, detailing a well-organized list of documents submitted, including employment contracts, financial statements, and proof of location. They shared their application timeline, emphasizing that they met the financial requirement by increasing their bank balance prior to applying. Various comments from the community include advice and observations about the documentation process and the necessity of printing the visa confirmation for travel.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
I wouldn't have attached your AMEX statement. Also, Amex isn't widely accepted in Thailand. This is VISA/MasterCard territory and the 3rd most accepted card is UnionPay. 4th is JCB. Amex comes in at a distant 5th.
thanks mate, yeah, I agree - rather be thorough and explain everything in the cover letter so as to better help guide the person assessing the visa. I mean who wants to review 100s of visa applications that’s all over the place ay.
Sending an Amex statement makes zero difference, just send exactly what they require, remember don’t think western logic. Well at least you didn’t laminate the visa 😅 Enjoy your 5 years
Yeah, i had the bulk of fund in there as I invest most of my money 💵 they just want to know that you can support yourself and are not dodgey. You can explain the situation in your cover letter as well.
it's pretty obvious they had the bulk of funds for a long period before they topped up to reach 500K. It's not as if there was 2,000 baht in there and topped up to 500k.
