Hi. As scrolling through the internet is giving me puzzled answers, can anyone please share the recent list of documents, needed for the retirement visa? Was the process long if you apply by yourself? Will appreciate heads up.

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post inquires about the recent document requirements for a retirement visa in Thailand and whether the application process is lengthy if done independently. Comments provide a link to a specific Phuket office for document lists, note that the process is generally quick if paperwork is in order, and mention that there are different types of retirement visas.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
The process is not long in itself , but depending on how many in the queue before you. In Phuket you apply on day one and collect next afternoon, as long as all the paperwork has been approved (usually always pre-checked, so if you get in the door of the office then you’re pretty much good to go).
For monthly deposits they need to come from overseas via transfer. Must be coded by the bank as such so be careful using services such as Wise who may not code it correctly and could appear as domestic deposit.
for the initial non O visa usually yes. For extensions off of one no. 800k two months prior to application. Three months after and can’t go below 400k for the year.
