Is anyone experiencing delays after applying for a DTV in Cambodia. My friend has been waiting 30+ days now. I assume the delay is due to the ongoing conflict.

TLDR : Answer Summary
There are reports of delays for DTV visa applications in Cambodia, with some individuals waiting over 30 days. Contributing factors may include the ongoing conflict impacting operations at the Thai Embassy, which has previously experienced disruptions such as staff issues and local hiring impacts. Typical processing times for these visas can range from 4 to 6 weeks.

Cambodia took 4 weeks before the conflict. It can take 4-6 weeks to get approved in Cambodia

Let's assume it has to do with his application.

Not with a landmine at the border.

I would assume so. Priorities will not be on visa issues. Remember the Thai Embassy was burned down in the mot too distant past over rumours what a Thai actress said on TV in a soap opera. The staff initially reviewing applications will be local hires. Are they even at work?
