What are the best options for opening a bank account in Thailand with a non-immigrant B visa?

Hey guys, I see posts here that reference a VIP service for opening a bank account in BKK at around 3K to 5K all-in (including car pick-up at condo, etc.). I have a WP so I’m set, but my partner will be on non-immi B visa when he flies in in a week, and we’d like for him to open a bank account here, as he will stay here for an extended period with me. I have been talking to some agencies, but they are so expensive! If you know of any other visa agencies with more reasonable charging, please help and DM me the details. Thanks a mil!

I opened a bank account while on Visa exempt status in Pattaya @ Bangkok Bank. Merely needed a Thai to vouch for me and a Letter of Residency Letter I obtained from immigration in Jomtien. Also, they offered to open an account if I purchased their insurance first, without the immigration visit. Try going to a Bangkok Bank Branch in a high international tourist area like Asoke Sukhumvit Area.
