Hello all,

Need to do another border run to Mae Sai in a little less than two weeks. I’m currently situated in Chiang Mai.

Could somebody tell me the benefits of their recommended thai visa service over planning it out myself by simply booking the green bus like I did last time?

I feel like the greenbusses are far more comfortable to begin with, but please let me know if I’m missing out on anything by not using a visa run service

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the advantages of using a visa run service as opposed to independently traveling to Mae Sai via a bus, particularly focusing on comfort and any potential benefits they might be missing by not using a service.

This page is for Thai Visa Advice. Not for travel information how to get to the border. Sorry, but google or other Facebook pages would be more helpful.

Unlikely to be honest. I think that particular journey is quite straightforward. There’s nothing they can really arrange for you at the border itself.
