I am retiring next year and I am married to a Thai, I am planning to get a non O visa and when I get there open a bank account.

I will probably only stay 2-3 months and then return in Maybe 3-4 months later.

When I go back would you advise getting another non O visa or just come on visa exemption? Will possibly come for 2-3 months again

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to retire soon and is married to a Thai citizen. They intend to obtain a NON-O visa initially and then open a bank account during their stay of 2-3 months in Thailand. The user is considering their options for a subsequent visit 3-4 months later, questioning whether to apply for another NON-O visa or use a visa exemption. Community responses indicate that obtaining a NON-O visa for both visits should not pose issues and suggest ensuring proper registration of their marriage in Thailand.

You shouldn't have any issues getting a non-O visa both times. That will let you get yourself setup for success on your 2nd entry.

Make sure if you didn't get married in Thailand that you get everything you need to register your marriage in Thailand before you leave. There are things you must get done in your home country before traveling or you won't be able to register the marriage.
