Hello, I was getting my covid extension at the Muangthong Immigration Bureau in bkk yesterday. They told us the computer system was down after a long wait and told us to come back another day. Does anyone know if their system is up now? They are not answering the phone or FB messages. I rather not travel all the way there to find out. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

i got my covid extension yesterday at Changwattana, right at the end of the day (5pm or so), no issues, not sure about today though.

i submitted the form, copies of all passport pages, but there were a few other things i can't remember, my employer put it together and it was a long day already having cancelled work permit and the old extension. Best to check w others sorry

You'll have to use Muang Thong Thani since you entered on a visa exempt

i did it already and I received 30 days extension...as you told me before....now I am going for 60 days covid extension and I ask for more information that you already told me . Thanks a lot ,you are very helpful

For what it's worth, I haven't heard of any situations of the systems not working yesterday, and it should have been all over the Thai internet.

About what time did you try to get the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19, and what's your nationality?

I was at Chiang Mai airport immigration yesterday and they made an announcement around 14:00 that their system was down. But it didn’t seem to be a problem.

I was there yesterday from 1pm - 3pm. It was still down when I left.

If there are any members who are at MTT (or maybe Changwattana? Or other immigration offices) today, please report if the system isn't working.

If you respond, please include which immigration office you used.

system isn’t working as well at Ayutthaya immigration. Was told to come back tomorrow but no mention of the system coming back by then.
