Good evening πŸ‘‹

I will be arriving to Don Mueang international airport on 3rd of June at 7pm with Air Asia.

Do you think catching a domestic flight DMK to Chiang Mai (Nok Air) at 9:15pm is feasible?

Knowing that I don't have checked luggages.

Also do I have to do the immigration process in DMK or in Chiang Mai?

Thanks for your assistance πŸ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can catch a 9:15pm domestic flight to Chiang Mai after arriving at Don Mueang Airport (DMK) at 7:00pm, considering they do not have checked luggage. Commenters suggest that it is feasible to make the connection if the arriving flight is on time, noting that immigration will be processed at DMK. They recommend allowing at least an hour for immigration and suggest online check-in for the second flight to ease the process.

It will be close, but you should make it, as long as your flight isn't delayed, that does happen quite a bit

Second flight checkin online. That way if you are running late you don’t have to worry about the checkin being closed. They will still give you your boarding pass if you need it.

If you had hold luggage, you can ask your 1st airline to tag your luggage "rapid transit." Then your luggage is loaded last, and comes off first. Useful tip πŸ‘

Bingo! Returning from Bangkok last month, Korean Air did this, and our luggage was some of the very first on the luggage conveyor.

Seems doable. Immigration will be done in Bangkok. Allow an hour. Depends on how many flights arrive just before yours if it will take that long.
