TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers from Thailand to Turkey do not require a PCR test for entry, but they must provide proof of double vaccination. Additionally, travelers may need to obtain a visa and a health certificate, which can be obtained online for free.

Hi Wendy, I have to leave Thailand and reenter to get my OA VISA stamp in my passport and have been wondering where I can easily go.
Would you mind sharing with me your thoughts on Turkey?
Cost for tickets, ease and cost of e-Visa, are you staying for a while and traveling on or returning to Thailand?
Any other thoughts you want to share would be great. Wayne
Hi Wayne, my ticket is a return flight so not a special 1way ticket.
eVisa was $50 and got it within 1 hour, it’s valid for 180 days of which I can use 30days multiple entry (i’m south african, this may vary for different nationalities)
our airbnb shared this link with us to give you an idea of Turkey

PS: their currency has fallen big time, so living may be very affordable.
I'm looking at a few nearby countries to Thailand, and hadn't really thought of Turkey. Although, my mother told me she super enjoyed her time there with her friends. So reading your post planted the seed.
