Anyone have any idea how Hua Hin immigration are interpreting the amnesty??
My 60 day tourist visa expires tomorrow (14th) and needs extending..
Do I stay home until 30th and wait and see; or am I expected to go to immigration for the renewal?!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Individuals on a 60-day tourist visa in Hua Hin can remain in the country until April 30th without visiting immigration, as per the amnesty rules. It is advisable to stay home and wait for further instructions.
If you are on the initial 60 day entry from a tourist visa, OR a 30 day normal extension from it you are good to the 30th without going to the immigration office.
