TLDR : Answer Summary
Changing her last name after marrying a foreigner does not affect a Thai woman's land ownership rights or any of her legal rights, as long as she retains her Thai citizenship. Multiple commenters confirmed that name changes had no impact on property ownership and that any legal documents can be updated without loss of rights.
I would say no as I believe they would still some form of Thai identification with their family name to resolve any such issues that may arise. This is my thinking on this subject.
My Thai wife changed her name and it made no difference. She already had land & property before we married and they are now registered in her married name.
