For the DTV must the 500k THB/equivalent be in a proper savings account or can it be in my USD/GBP etc account for the 3 months? Anyone had success with just keeping the money in their account as normal for 3 months? Please lmk 🙏
Answer summary
The 500k THB required for the Thai DTV visa can be kept in a personal bank account of any currency, including USD or GBP. It does not have to be in a specific savings account; it can remain in an accessible account that you normally use for transactions.

This has been asked 10k times. This group needs real admins to turn off the anonymous option and screen the posts to be sure its not tge same repetitive nonsense every day.
so I don't need to open a separate savings part and do all that hassle (hassle with my bank) I can just leave it in my instantly spendable balance/account?
AttentiveAlpaca7951 Yeah, you don't need to open a separate savings account for the 500k. Your regular account where you receive income and spend from, is fine.
