A Thai retirement visa holder can withdraw money from their bank account, but they must ensure that the balance returns to 800,000 THB at least 2 months prior to their visa renewal application. The 800,000 THB must remain in the account for 3 months after the extension is granted, and during the year, the balance must not drop below 400,000 THB. Additionally, the funds do not necessarily have to come from overseas when returning to the required threshold.
