just be sure to submit the PROOF of your being in Hanoi when you submit your application for the DTV visa. Dated hotel receipt, picture of you with dated newspaper ETC. May be asked for a copy of each of your passport pages. Others have been asked.James ********

You can choose to do it in Hanoi if you land in HCMC. Submit your Hanoi hotel booking with your application.

They probably need to be compressed so converting to jpg is usually better as JPEG files are smaller than PDF.Nir *******

got you Andi thanks alot for all your info and guidance you really help me can I ask you last question maby you can clear my mind with this as well So I enter vietnam with my france passport but in reality I burn and raise in Israel and my bank acount statement also from Israel the issue is thet my family name on the france passport written different from my family name in the Israeli passport and in my bank statement They pronounce it differently in both countries.what should I do in this case to avoid any problem of miss understanding from the ambacy side

You can send them an email in advance to let them know about the difference between your passport name and bank statement name. You can also include a note in your application explaining the difference.Nir *******
