TLDR : Answer Summary
The Satun border is open every day, including public holidays, but it is uncertain if a re-entry permit can be obtained there. Typically, re-entry permits are issued at local immigration offices, which will be closed on the public holiday. Airports like Phuket and Bangkok can issue re-entry permits 24/7 regardless of holidays. Additionally, if an individual's stamp expires on the 8th, they have until 11:59 PM that day to exit without incurring an overstay. It's advisable to arrive early at immigration offices, particularly after a long holiday closure.

On the 8th all immigration offices will be open. You could apply for a re-entry permit then and (assuming you are accompanying your daughter) do a border bounce afterwards.
no if her stamp is for the 8th she has up until 11:59pm on the 8th to leave. Don’t know the opening times for the border at Satun. I’m fairly sure it’s not 24 hours.
There is an immigration office in Satun. Perhaps like many around the country it’ll be manic on Monday as they’ll have been closed for 4 days. I have no idea whether that would be the case there or not. Aim to be there early (opens at 8.30am). Probably look at doing a trip the day before and stay there overnight as trying to get there from Phuket (a 6 hour drive) wouldn’t be pleasant.
The desk is located at the immigration counters at the airport. You’d need a ticket out to get that far.

Satun border is open every day regardless of public holidays. I do not know if you can get a re-entry permit from there. Usually you have to get it at a local immigration office (which will be closed tomorrow and Friday).
