For getting a visa-exempt (30 days). Is there some difference in entering by Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai or BKK or DMK? I heard BKK and DMK are more strict. Chiang Rai might be relaxed because less people?

More info: EU-citizen, multiple visa's in this and last year.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The entry point into Thailand, whether Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, or Don Mueang, does not significantly affect the visa exemption process. All travelers may be asked to provide proof of funds, onward travel, and hotel bookings at any entry point. However, experiences vary, with some suggesting that smaller airports like Chiang Rai may be more relaxed compared to the busier Bangkok airports.

The people that are questioned when entering the country have extensive histories of living here on back-2-back visa exempt entries or tourist visas

There is no difference and you could be asked to show the 3-proof-ofz at any entry point to thailand.

proof of funds

proof of onward travel

proof of a hotel booking
