Good day everyone. My wife is a teacher at a public school in Thailand. She has all her legal documents in order (visas and employment contract), together with a recently acquired work permit. She’s been with the school for over 6 months. She is preggies and will be expecting late October. The school will break for holidays before she delivers…she will be at work until then.

Questions:

1. Are we as farangs entitled to maternity leave? If yes,

2. How many maternity days are we entitled to and… is this paid leave?

Kindly advise.
