Do any Americans in here have any experience securing a Thai tourist visa from a Thai embassy in Europe? I have checked all of the embassies in the countries I will be in, but all of them require you to be a resident of the country you are applying in (for example, in Germany, you must either be German, or show proof of German residency). I have called and emailed a few of the embassies in countries I will be traveling in, and all have said this was a requirement.

I am used to bouncing around in Asia for 60 day tourist visas, but it looks like you can not do that from a European country... I can probably get back in to Thailand on the 30 day visa waiver, but was told in the past that I did that too much and have to get 60 day visas... Anyone with a similar experience have some thoughts on options from Europe?
