I am about ready to dish out the dough for a $ervice back in the States to authenticate my university diploma. It will take about three months. Question: In the meantime, would it be possible to get a short-term (3 month) Non-B Visa (pending said authenticated diploma) ? It's for a teaching gig. The idea being that when I do receive my authenticated diploma, the short-term Non-B Visa would then be transferred to a 12 month Non-B, enabling me to then get a work permit.
