Goodmorning,

Maybe a bit silly question, but if someone wants an incountry NON IMM O, (entered on a real Tourist visa (60 days on entry)) one has to use the regular TM7 form ?

Second question; Also one has to decide which NON IMM O, based on retirement or mariage (when officialy maried of course) ? Or is based on retirement the only option ?

(This already for the reason of the intended year extension)

Thanks in advance.

Question: what documentation is required from my Thai bank re: $800k THB I deposited for retirement extension?

I’m U.S. citizen, over 50, entered Thailand as a 45-day visa exempt tourist, expiring Nov. 20. $800k was deposited on August 30. I’m located in Bangkok. (So non-immigrant O, TM87, I believe?)

I went to Bangkok Bank today, they had no idea what I was talking about, but gave me 3 documents: a letter stating my balance as of today, a printout of the $800k transferred in, showing it came from outside of Thailand, & a copy of my statement for the month that the transfer came in, showing the funds transfer. Is that sufficient for immigration? Thanks for any advice!

Hello friends. What is the requirement to do an in-country conversion of a 30 days exemption stamp into a non Imm O Visa (for Thai Spouse). All I found out by Googling is that you must fill a TM87 form and your exemption must have at least 15 days validity. Do they want other documentation? (e.g. Khor Ror 2, bankbook and so on). I confess I'm a little bit confused about it.

Really thanks for any help, it's kinda appreciated.

# Hello Todd, Robert Lagas, That time again, and I'm wondering what new changes are in place to re-new (or get a new) Non Immigrant A/O VISA

I'm in Country and will head into the immigration Office Tomorrow.

Do you have a link for the proper form that I can fill out on line?

and is it the TM87 or TM7 That will be required.
