I apologize in advance if someone's answered this question, but I've searched through the group, and I can't find it. I renewed my retirement visa in January of this year using the 800K in the bank method and showed a letter from the bank for the previous six months as evidence of my funds. This time, will I need a letter from the bank covering the previous year, or will a six month letter and my bank book suffice? The reason I'm concerned is that my local branch of Bangkok Bank told me once before that it takes 7 days to release a letter covering the year, yet the letter's only valid at Thai Immigration for 7 days. It looks like a catch22. Is it?
