TLDR : Answer Summary
In Bangkok, several options for PCR tests are mentioned, with 'Dr. Donna' being the cheapest at 2600฿. Other listed options include 'Piyavate Hospital' at 2500฿ and 'Thai Travel Clinic' at 3000฿. However, 'Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute' offers free tests, although it has limited slots. Other facilities like BNH and Bangkok Hospital charge around 6000฿ to 5500฿ respectively. Overall, 'Dr. Donna' stands out as the most cost-effective choice according to the community's feedback.
Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute. There is free. But they only take 300 patients a day. And the queue starts past midnight.

Ah the weekly question for those too lazy to search, i think last week everyone agreed doctor donnas was cheapest at 2600 and i did with them as well and was no problem
only 7th or 8th time been asked this month and surprise surprise all been same answers you also might note i answered him as well. I still call it lazy not looking through first for such a common question
So 'average user' people can't do this simple task then? Why on earth do they use the internet then? To waste other people's time and bandwidth by constantly asking the same old questions?
, yes, exactly. Because “searching” can give you outdated info or not exactly what you need. Also, the “human” connection with the group. Did you happen to notice how many group members were more than happy to help?
on the other side we probably get 10 to 15 people asking about "whats the cheapest insurance" we cannot approve all so send polite message saying please search been asked many times if you have any specific questions please post again, 99 % dont post again.
Even now you can see people are bored of answering that question and now only people selling it are answering.
I know who the best one is with fairest prices, i also know many people who have had claims through that brokerage and had no problems at all, but really after typing that answer probably 50 times this year cannot be bothered any more.
, let me introduce you to cut-and-paste, since you apparently know the decent way to respond to these requests. Why not keep a generic answer on a clipboard somewhere so you can respond decently, much more easily, and even more quickly than typing a snide response to an innocent group member's question?
Also, you are a trusted source, and when you say; "I know who the best one is with fairest prices, i also know many people who have had claims through that brokerage and had no problems at all," it sounds like you have valuable insight on the issue. Is this something that can easily be found in a Google search? Can the search results be trusted?
the idea of searching is to get information and then use YOUR discriminatory faculties to decide what is relevant to you. It’s called thinking for yourself, something that things like Facebook have started to destroy, indeed have been very successful at.
"The idea of research." Wow, so we are all expert researchers here? Or at least, we should be? This is a discussion group, popular among humans who wish to share information.
"It’s called thinking for yourself, something that things like Facebook have started to destroy..." Well, good luck fighting your battle against the decline of critical thinking through social media. I have my battles to fight, and my biggest one is online bullying, which is what got this whole conversation started, and is definitely something that "things like Facebook have started to destroy..."
