I've asked a similar question before but as we are going through this now just want to confirm the correct information. We are transitioning over from the 800k requirement for the OA Visa to the 65k per month. Renewed our visa December 2021, started the 65k per month in November. Have just done our 90 day report today. When is it that we can take out 400K of our money? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is transitioning from the 800k baht requirement for the OA Visa to a monthly income of 65k. After renewing their visa in December 2021 and starting the monthly income in November, they inquire about withdrawing 400k baht. The consensus is that they can withdraw the funds three months after their extension is granted, but must keep the remaining 400k in the bank until exactly the day their previous extension expires to meet the conditions of their visa.

Don't get mixed up with a 90 day report and anything to do with 90 days with a visa or extension of stay. They are completely different and unrelated even if they coincide at the same time ๐Ÿ‘

You can withdraw 400k baht three months after your extension is granted. Keep the other 400k in the bank until the EXACT day the previous extension expires, or you will not have met the condition of that extension.

The banked money of 800.000 thb must be in the bank 2 months prior application until at least 3 months after.

The rest of the year it can not be less than 400.000 thb, you may have to show this when you apply again as you promissed to follow the rules.

If you like to use next time the monthly income it must be at least 12 months prior application date a minimum of 65.000 Thb a month as foreign deposit into your Thai bank account.

Ok. Fab. I wasn't sure if it was after the 90 day report or 3 months as have read different stories. Will wait another month to withdraw then. I know 90 day and 3 months are the same but for some reason we have had to do the 90 day 2 months after renewal. Thanks heaps

90 days and three months are the same?

Not if you talk about the 90 days report that you make if you are 90 days inside Thailand and the three month needed to keep your deposit into the Thai Bank. Total different things as you noticed.

I know. lol Had me confused as it's the same time but since renewing our visa, we had to do 90 day report just 2 moths later. Anyway.. thanks heaps. Will wait till 23rd March and all should be OK.
