What should I know about the DTV visa and its requirements in Thailand?

The DTV visa can be obtained fairly quickly, as one user noted receiving theirs in just one day in Denmark without any questions asked. However, several comments indicate confusion about this visa type, particularly in comparison to the 10 million baht investment visa and other property-related visas such as the Non-O visa for retirees. Discussion highlights the necessity of approval from the BOI for property purchases intended to qualify for visas and mentions complex requirements for maintaining such visas, suggesting that consulting with an immigration agent could be beneficial.
