If you have a bank account in Thailand, if you look at the beginning of the year you'll see a tax deduction about 2/3 hundred bauts, so can you please tell me if I have a tax number "TIN," please let me know thanks 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies that the tax deduction observed in a Thai bank account is a withholding tax on interest, which is typically 15%. Multiple comments confirm that a Tax Identification Number (TIN) is not required for this taxation process, and individuals can potentially claim back taxes if they do possess a TIN and file a tax return.

for your bank you do not need a TIN.

Depends on how much was taxed. Are we talking millions?

Nothing to do with a TIN, it's withholding tax on the interest the bank pays you, which you might be able to claim back if you do get a TIN and file a tax return
