Do I need to pay taxes in Thailand if I only use my foreign bank cards and withdraw cash without transferring funds?

hello there, As a Thai tax resident and DTV holder, do I need to pay any taxes if I’m not transferring money to a Thai bank account, and I’m only using my credit/debit cards from my home country? I’m also withdrawing small amounts of cash from ATMs using my home country's bank cards.

TLDR : Answer Summary
As a Thai tax resident with a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa), if you withdraw small amounts of cash from ATMs using foreign bank cards and do not transfer funds to a Thai bank account, you may not need to pay taxes unless your total assessable income exceeds 60,000 baht. If you maintain a Thai tax residency by staying for 180 days or more in a calendar year, and your assessable income meets certain thresholds, you might be required to obtain a Thai tax ID and file a tax return.

No, nobody knows you have income because you don't transfer money to thai bank account. Only income on thai bank account is taxable

It doesn't matter how you bring income into Thailand, using an ATM to withdraw from a non thai bank is no different to transferring to a Thai bank and withdrawing it. If you spend 180 days or more in a calendar year inside Thailand you are a Thai tax resident in that year. If during that year you bring 60k baht or more of assessable income into Thailand then you need to get a TIN (Thai tax ID), 120k baht or more you need to file a Thai tax return
