What is the experience of living in Thailand on the DTV visa since its release?

You say; 'you shouldn't worry much'. Correction, you needn't worry at all. Once DTV has been issued there are no further requirements. If asked to prove ongoing participation in original qualifying activity then you can answer; Workcation - Between employers/contracts, presently taking a vacation. Soft power - Investigating further courses, presently taking a vacation. Medical - seeking alternative treatment plan.

I would love to know what you used for medical dtv I am starting to submit one for my 82 year old mother in law. She’s using Bangkok medial services for now

The fearmongering and misinformation come from people claiming that either 100% of people are checked or 0% are checked. The truth lies in a reasonable and balanced middle ground. Immigration officers aren’t just there to stamp passports and say hi. Qualify and you'll have no issue.

Your experience probably does mirror 99.9% of DTV holders out of dozens (hundreds?) who enter daily There have been confirmed cases of denial of entry and another where gym called and allowed entry. All of those 4 cases were Muay Thai and gym called. All 4 BKK too. The 3 denied entry were people not known to the gym and had never attended it would seem. Everyone else seems to be fine. Too many jump to conclusions and make silly statements without evidence. We had one guy yesterday claiming Soft Power DTV would be "Officially" cancelled soon aa he thought he detected more METV issued instead of DTV- crazy.

I don’t think it’s fear mongering, some people’s passport nationalities cause flags with this new digital aged system we have entered. 🙏🏻
