What is the correct intended date of departure for my DTV (Freelance Visa) application in Thailand?

I am currently applying for a DTV (Freelance Visa) from the U.K.

I have bought a flight and entered the date and flight details, now I must add an "intended date of departure"

-It is a five year visa that I am applying for, so should I put in a date five years from my initial arrival?

Or should I enter a date that is within 180 days or my arrival?

It is a bit unclear.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you kindly.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the DTV (Freelance Visa) in Thailand, you should set the "intended date of departure" within 180 days of your arrival date. Despite the visa being valid for five years, the application guidance suggests entering a date that aligns with the 180-day rule from your entry.

180 days from entry 👍

If I remember correctly when you enter a date it tells you how many days from entry it is - to right hand side. Make it 180.
