Hello all - anyone been through the visa process for foreigner with Thai children? I'd like to retire in Thailand but will not have the kind of savings or passive income for LTR or retirement. Been in Thailand collectively 14 years, but not 5 in a row. Trying to see how to manage the process. Appreciate any advice.

Okay. Well, I may be out of luck once I am ready. One is 29, other is 18 today!

I was led to believe that until the kids were 20 there wwas no problem. Even though my youngest is now nearly 22 there has not been a problem.

You need 400,000 in your Thai bank account for this type of visa.

But what does 5 years in a row have to do with your visa or extension?
