So you can get a 5 year visa for a dental treatment? What after the treatment is done? I’m just curious because I didn’t know this was a valid option for DTV

Oh, yer teeth are decomposing all the time, so a 5-year visa is perfectly justified as it will cover all dental treatments in the future (no pun intended but I am a dentist)

they may ask you for only your ID card if you are are a Swiss citizen. That was the only extra document requested when my son applied.Sans****

Sansa369 hoi ebenfalls :) ich bin seit 5 jahren abgemeldet in der schweiz. kehre aber 2-3 mal im jahr ständig zurück um zu arbeiten. immer beim gleichen arbeitsgeber. bin schweizer bürger. bezahle jeweils quellensteuer usw alles korrekt. siehst du da ein emöglichkeit dass es trotzdem klappt für mich?

OPkrazyeyez999 Die wollen seit kurzem aber, dass man eben bestätigt, dass man sich im Land befindet, von dem man den Pass oder Aufenthaltsbewilligung hat. Ob das nur mit dem Pass klappt, bezweifle ich. Falls ja, umso besser.

As far as I know this could work, as long as you apply from Switzerland. You can also ask the Thai Embassy Bern if that’s possible for your specific case. I also asked them a question regarding the application for my kids and they replied 2 days later 🙂. Hoffe, da hilft bitz.Jan *********

I had to pay 10k THB for the appointment confirmation letter. The amount would have been refunded if the DTV was not approved. The rest of the treatment costs can vary between 3500 and 4800 Swiss Francs. Depends on the situation in my jaw 😸.

Sansa369 what?! My failing teeth can help me get DTV?! I have a 180k baht price offer and that's just for 2 teeth, already extracted one 2 weeks ago... I had NO idea it is possible this way, and i did my research! Thank you sooo much! 🙌🙏.

you’re welcome ☺️ 🙏🏼. In Switzerland I pay triple the price for Invisalign braces 🤷🏻♀️. So that’s a no-brainer. The 10k are the deposit payment for the appointment confirmation letter for the DTV application. You get a full refund if DTV is not approved.

5 years visa for dental trestment? How many visits do you have planned. I am curious because sometimes they deny muai thai or remote nomad but they accept dental trestment which can be done with METV easily.
