i saved a lot of $$ and want to stay for a longer period of time in thailand witout working preferably untill next year
What is my best option exept for a tourist visa or ed visa.
I read about an elite visa but i cant find anywhere information for requirements for dutch citizen or how to apply for this

You could get a 6 month METV visa cost is $200, closest embassy to apply for it is in Perth Australia...there is no limit on these visas, I personally know someone on their 5th consecutive one

We can only give advice, what ever you like to do with this advice is your choice. If you like to stay a longer time inside of Thailand, we see regular reports of people being denied entry using this Visa Exempt Entry or Tourist Visa on a back to back basis or with short intervals in other countries. That is the risk you take, you can prepare yourself for questions an entry points with the minimum for 20.000 Thb or equivalent currency in cash, proof of onward travel and proof of accommodation.Sjef ***************

We can not tell if you're okay or not. The decision is made by the Immigration Officer. The Visa Exempt Entry and the Tourist Visa are not to be used for living inside Thailand. And to be he devils advocate: You saved $$, you just come to bring money, but you can not afford the correct visa to do this? Sounds strange.Sjef ***************

I read that they gonna ask questions if I have many tourist visa so if I have my 2nd tourist visa from vientiane and I get stopped and I explain my situation I will be ok rightRobert *******
The only good reason for Immigration Is that you have a visa that fits the purpose of your stay.

I went to the Silom office, filled out some paperwork, they took a photocopy if my passport, took a pic...3 weeks later they contacted me and I paid the money...super easySjef ***************

Not from agencies, lawyers etc who do the legwork for you to apply at Immigration Office. The only way to get the Thai Elite Visa is to contact the organization, this is a T.A,T organized visa and you can not get this yourself at Immigration.Ryan ******
