TLDR : Answer Summary
A Dutch passport holder under 50 currently on a visa exemption who wishes to stay longer in Thailand without working can consider several options. The Thai Elite Visa is one option, which requires contacting their official site for specifics. The METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) can be a viable alternative, especially as it allows up to six months and can be extended, which makes it straightforward and less stressful. Another future consideration could be marrying a Thai national, although this might not be preferred. It's crucial to prepare adequately for immigration inquiries and ensure having sufficient funds and proof of accommodation.
