Update: www.withlocals.com was great!!! 🤩

Easy to check availability, to book, to message the tour guide and to book with Polly! Who was a great local tour guide.

We learn so much about Buddhism ❤️ and she knows 99% of the answers, good English and you could trust her knowledge, compared to the random tour guide we came across in Wat Pho 😅 bless him.

Hello! Does anyone recommend a tour (for tomorrow!) In the old city, we would like to understand the history/religion in Bangkok.

No monuments entry, just walking around. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their positive experience with a local tour guide named Polly from Withlocals.com, noting her extensive knowledge of Buddhism and the ease of booking through the platform. They sought recommendations for walking tours focusing on history and religion in Bangkok, preferring to avoid entry fees for monuments. Suggestions from the community included checking Airbnb, Chaophraya Tourist Boat, electric scooter tours with Go Scoot, and bike rentals, though one commenter cautioned against walking in the heat.
