It seems to be taking so long there. Did you use an agency? My agency I’ve been using for years is suggesting I go there for the DTV but they are mentioning it will take 14-21 days, that seems way too long.

China and Koreans smoke, litter everywhere. Compared to years ago. I was chased out of cafe halfway thru my paid meal for group of elderly Korean golfers who only speak Korean. Plus spit & smoke again πŸ˜‚ Even renting bike was hostile until I explained I am neither decent & spoke Thai. Shop explained China & Koreans ruined this place. If you are talking about the 15 to 20 days wait, it is the same almost everywhere as we intersected with their holidays.

Thank You for your helpful report πŸ‘

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

I agree. I used to enjoy Vientiane many years ago, unfortunately not anymore, especially after my last trip there in February…
