TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion confirms that Thai mail is operational, although there may be some delays. Users shared varied experiences with different mailing services. DHL and FedEx are recommended for faster delivery, while USPS can be used as well, with typical delivery times ranging from several days to weeks depending on the service. However, some users reported slow experiences, particularly with packages taking a significant amount of time to arrive. Overall, people have found success in mailing documents from the USA to Thailand.

Thai Mail's doing just fine, but due to some lengthy delays i'd recommend tracked. if you're in anything like a hurry, or if it's important, Fedex is operating pretty much normally. Their having their own planes may have something to do with it...

Maybe not , there probably worried about, someone sending cov 19 by packaging, that's how insane it is getting for Thailand, the world won't have cov 19 free, just need to manage it,
Jeff *******
is it? are they? because i've been getting packages just fine. biggest problem is there are few flights, so delays

@Jeff ******
, sorry I was being sarcastic, from Sydney we can send, to Thailand via sabuy express, look it up, hope it helps you

@Steven ******
i might look into it, shipping from 'Straya has been excruciatingly slow. EU's cleared up pretty well, Germany was where my packages from the US went to die.

I don't agree that "it's getting insane" in Thailand though. i think they handled it well, everything's pretty much open here, even pubs. and most small businesses survived.

meanwhile look at the shit show that is the US. lock down late, end it early, that way you get to lock down again later, and guarantee you screw up the economy without containing the spread of the virus? genius plan.

@Jeff ******
agreed but unfair, like myself and others that have homes and family in Thailand and we can't go, and if we can 14 day on our expense, we should be tested and do 14 days at our homes, sorry my opinion,

Nina *********
I tried to send to usa but they said it goes by boat and could take up to 2 months

The whole country was not sending ANY mail to the USA for awhile. First it cut the airmail and then it dropped the ship. So those responding are not tlaking about May to the USA as it was completely gone then

@Nina ********
you have a choice by boat, cheap but slow, then by air fast but cost a little more and then the option many do not know avout is Thai post courier service which is cheaper than DHL but just as fast.
Nina *********
@Ron *****************
true but the air wasnt offered at the time when i went. They said no flights in and out and thus offered only boat.

Yes. I got a small package from Boston in only 10 days. Sent USPS. I should also say, that was to the village. So probably added a day or two.
