TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is uncertain about a scheduled immigration appointment on May 3rd, which is reported to be a holiday. Comments clarify that while May 3rd is a bank holiday and some businesses may be closed, government offices including immigration are expected to be open.

I'm closing comments. It seems to be a bank holiday, and some businesses are letting people off from work. To my knowledge, immigration is still open that day :)
