TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires whether Jomtien immigration is currently not accepting the requirement of having 65,000 baht per month for visa purposes. Commenters provided mixed opinions: some have not heard of this issue, while others mentioned acceptance of the amount previously. There was also a discussion regarding an individual’s reliance on information from a friend and a request for confirmation from others in the community.

No. Thats why i am asking here if anyone else has heard that or if they have any knowledge of it.
I hope you do not ask if they accept a donation of 65.000 Thb a month. If your Embassy does not provide you with the income affidavit you can apply for an Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age using the financial requirement of minimum 65.000 Thb of monthly foreign deposits into your Thai bank account for the last 12 months.
17 years and never noticed that you applied every year for a new (not renew, use tippex and fill in new dates) 1 year Extension of Stay and each year you got a new stamp with in the second line Extension of Stay is permitted up to ../../... There is no mention of visa in that stamp.
I've been here 17 years on a retirement visa. I am still not sure that I can get a visa based on 65k a month going into my BKK bank from US treasury department since March. I need to renew in August.

James Miller I went into Jomtien and at this time there not being lenient at this time it’s a lot of extra work for one guy so will see
There is a memo to have leniency for those people who can not get the income affidavit. But leniency is given by the Immigration Officer, some are more lenient than others, like all people in the world. The only way to find out is to go in time and ask if your banking system is according their rules.
