I have a question

Wanna apply for evisa thailand setv and what about booking confirmation do I need to book real flight because it's expensive will cost me 800$ and if my visa didn't approve? It's a big risk , do I need to book flight from near place to bangkok like kula lampor to bangkok even if I don't live in KL or book onwards fligjt that remains for 2 days on hold

But if my visa take longer than 2 days ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the necessity of booking a confirmed flight for an eVisa application to Thailand, expressing concerns about the cost and potential visa denial. Comments suggest that while some embassies don't require a paid ticket, they expect a travel itinerary. Options for booking refundable flights to mitigate risks are also discussed.

Depends on the embassy i think. I don’t think I provided tickets when I bought METV, but thats a few years ago. Just had to provide travel plan.

But you can always just book a more expensive 100% refundable flight. Then when visa approved cancel it and book a cheap non refundable flight.

it will cost a lot and wait long time to get refund also what about onward flight websites that give you real flight for 3 days or 2 or should I get flight from KL to BKK and put it in documents for evisa even if I'm in Morocco right now and
Lynnette *******
What passport do you have? It might be one that can enter 60 days without visa.

Morocco and already have 2 stamps this year but only 58days and the third stamp is only because I had to because I have return flight from bangkok and I told them I'm staying for 15 days and they gave me third stamp no problem but now I might not get it this year so I want evisa

sorry, never needed a SETV. There's no actual 180 max limit in a year but they are more concerned about people trying to live in Thailand using the exempt entry over and over. So they get questioned or have difficulty. Perhaps if you have a SETV and all the proofs of being a tourist= hotel, flight out etc you'll be ok.

I've never heard of a tourist visa not being approved. But most embassies do not require a paid ticket, they just want to see what your planned itinerary is.

so if I book ticket from kuala lampor to bangkok and give ut to them it's okay?... I'm in Morocco now I'll give them morocco adress so is a good solution or should I book ticket that last for 2 days or 3 days from Morocco to bangkok but what if the process of visa took week for example so the ticket will not be active then
Brandon ************
@Lesia *********
No. They want to see your flight from where you are applying to Thailand.
