Good morning, sorry if this question has already been asked but I can't find any info about it. Next month I need to get out of Thailand and apply for a Volunteer Visa, I would like to do it in Hong Kong as I have to go there anyways. I tried to search on their website what I need to bring with me and if it's actually possible to apply for it in HK, any info or link about what I need to have for the application? (I already have the documents with invitation letter from the foundation I'm gonna "work" for)

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking information about applying for a Volunteer Visa at the Thai consulate in Hong Kong, as they have to travel there. They have the necessary invitation letter but cannot find specific application guidelines or confirm if applications are accepted in Hong Kong.

They said they don't usually ask for a proof of founds but if I have it it's always better.

Yep , I just asked them if I also need a proof of founds like a bank statement, I'll keep you updated that it might be useful for someone else in the future

Sounds like if you tick those boxes they'll issue you the visa (y)

Is it that they probably don't even accept a volunteer visa application ?

I might call them before I go then, thanks

not necessarily, most consulates accept applications for most visa types but each consulate has their own criteria. You're out nothing by trying it, but be prepared to go somewhere else if it doesn't fly there.

on this website: 1. A copy of Hong Kong/Macau I.D.Card, but then is says Non Immigrant visa basic requirements plus additional documents please click here, but than no mention of Non Immigrant O visa.

Any reason you're all fired up to go to the thai consulate in Hong Kong?

Where did the foundation you're volunteering for suggest you go?

ORIGINAL POSTER
It doesn't really matter for them but as right now I'm on a SETV that will expire on the 25th of October, and on the 15th or 17th I have to go to HK I wanted to apply there if possible
