Can I apply for a Digital Nomad Visa in Thailand if I won't be visiting until 2027?

Just returned (to Canada) from 100 days in SE Asia. Spent 2w at beginning of trip and 6w at end of trip in Thailand. I have decided I want to visit more regularly for extended periods (3-4 months at a time, likely coming and going over that period as I visit other countries).

DTV looks like a great option for the cost and flexibility. I do remote work (Canadian clients) through my own incorporated company and proof of funds not an issue.

Two questions for those more experienced with the process:
1) I would like to apply now to get it all settled but will not be visiting again until Jan 2027 - any issue with this?
2) I do not draw salary from my company (all in business account as retained earnings) - would they care about this?

As another Canadian with a federally incorporated company, I highly recommend you start making yourself your own employee and paying yourself a wage (can be 3k cdn month) so you can show stable personal income

You should state on your application that you are traveling in the next three months or they might not process it.  Once you have it, you can delay to 2027.  You need to have 500k in a personal bank account (not a business account)

I’m also Canadian with a DTV and my own inc! They want to see u have a regular income, even if you have 500k in the bank - so how can you prove that without salary? I assume you have to be withdrawing money from the inc somehow? And if you only plan on coming in January u shud do the application around October. Good luck :)

Put your arrival date within 3mths of applying.If you put Jan 2027 it will very likely not be processed. It is ok not to draw a salary from your business, evidence sufficient savings beyond the 500k to show financial independence.
