The government COVID-19 crisis center decided on Monday to further relax COVID-19 restrictions starting Oct 1.

Curfew hours will be reduced by one hour to 10pm to 4am instead of starting at 9pm for 15 days. Fitness centers will be reopened and musicians can perform at restaurants.

Shopping malls and convenience stores will be permitted to open until 9pm instead of 8pm. The COVID-19 Emergency Decree meanwhile will be extended for the 14th time to the end of November.

.

Other businesses to be reopened in “deep-red” or highly infected areas including Metropolitan Bangkok starting Oct. 1 are movie theatres, spas, massage parlors, and beauty clinics.

.

Fully-vaccinated people entering Thailand by air will be required to go through quarantine for 7 days at a certified hotel instead of 14. The unvaccinated and those entering Thailand by land or sea will be required to go through 10 to 14 days of quarantine.
