I sent my application to the Thai Embassy in Washington DC this past weekend, and I am waiting for approval. I'm considering booking a flight from America to Thailand for this coming weekend. I assume that the application won't be decided by the time I arrive in Bangkok. I will use the "entry on arrival" 60 day. The flight will be booked as a roundtrip with a return in June. If my DTV is approved after I arrive should I go to emigration or can I wait until I leave? Any issues?
Some advice please. I have a 30 day entry on arrival, however I need to extend by 5 days. Is it possible to do this at Hua Hin immigration office ( bluport shopping mall) TIA
If I could get a bit of help pls. I’ll be coming from uk with my 2 kids 4&11. I go over by 8 days for my 30day entry on arrival. Is it easier to extend in Bangkok or pattaya? I looked at the e-visa in uk and it requires alot of documents so it’s easier for me to do it there. Would I need to get my childrens visa done as well? I read that they are good if my visa is good as they are both under 15yrs. If I don’t get theirs extended would they have a problem traveling in the future and would I have to pay a fine when leaving Thailand for them? Tia
Just extended my entry on arrival with a 60 day family visit at Loei immigration. Arrived at 9am finished at just before 5pm. Be prepared for a long wait in the sun as sensibly everyone waits outside. I was number 30 in the queue. they work very slowly. thanks for the help on this site.
