What should I know about re-entering Thailand from Myanmar on a visa exemption?

Hi great work as always I know you must be busy. I am a UK passport holder and arrived mid February, visa exempt 30 days, I extended that and have a flight to UK booked for mid April. That may or may not be cancelled (there is some confusion) and klm are far to busy to deal with the question I asked them so far.

To be on the safe side I am considering popping to the Myanmar border this weekend and getting another Visa exempt entry (never done a land crossing). Is there anything special I need to know e.g. do I have to apply for the e visa to go to Myanmar and come straight back or do they do VOA or exempt entry? Many thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a UK passport holder, is considering crossing the border to Myanmar for a visa exemption entry back into Thailand. They seek information on the process, including whether an e-visa is required for Myanmar, given the confusion with their flight back to the UK.

many thanks that sorts that idea, may I ask which land borders are still open to neighbouring countries that can provide the same quick bounce service?
